Identities like the fixer, caretaker, achiever, victim, or “spiritual one” are costumes built for safety, and their unraveling can feel like joy or friction (loss, endings, illness, financial shifts). Either way, nothing real is being taken—you’re being relieved of what’s heavy. I ask White Light a question about the concept of PAFA, (presence, awareness, focus and attention) they describe it as simply allowing: staying in the moment, welcoming what comes next, and finding power in the tiny space between what happens and how we respond. They say that this state is inseparable from nervous-system coherence—calm, stillness, breath, and trust—because resistance creates friction in every connection, including the connection to your inner self.
