Born and raised on the South Side of Queens, NY, Wayne Ski began his musical journey in 1994 when he started making hip hop mixed with R&B mix tapes while working for a local music store. With the desire to understand the music business, he landed an internship at Def Jam Recordings in 1997. The opportunity allowed him to network with other DJs, and A-listers in the industry beyond the boroughs of New York. He then went on to secure a national college promotion position at Elektra Records from 2001-2004. With his vast knowledge of music and the buzz that he created for himself, he then went on to work with the legendary DJ Marley Marl in 2003 and became one of the featured DJs on Marley's FutureFlavasOnline.com. Wayne Ski knows what it takes to have longevity in the DJ game. From the work he has done with record labels, to putting shows together for artists, as well as having shows on college radio, and commercial radio, Wayne Ski has established himself as a mainstay in the music industry. As his resumé continues to build as a DJ, he has become a full time producer working with great artists like Bumpy Knuckles, Brown Bag AllStars, Lyric Jones and Otis Clap to name a few.
