Remember The Game? Retro Gaming PodcastAuthor: Adam Blank
Comedian Adam Blank hosts "Remember The Game?", a retro gaming podcast. Each week, Adam and his guest will select a video game that they grew up playing, and spend time reminiscing about what they loved (or hated) about it. Not intended to be a history lesson, "Remember The Game?" is more like a conversation you'd overhear on the playground as a kid. The discussions are all over the place, and are guaranteed to fill you with that warm, nostalgic feeling. (Or rage, like you felt with the underwater level in the original Ninja Turtles game). Either way, it's gonna be fun! New episodes every Wednesday! Language: en Genres: Comedy, Leisure, Stand-Up, Video Games Contact email: Get it Feed URL: Get it iTunes ID: Get it |

Many have told me this is in their top 2 X games alongside the original, and now that I've played it for myself, I get it.The original trilogy of Mega Man X games on the SNES range from perfection to meh (in my books), so I was curious to see how the series would go once it left the 16-bit era. And while X4 definitely shares some DNA with the very subpar Mega Man 8, it brings the heat in practically every way and is anything but subpar. AND it's 2 games in one, because you can play as X AND Zero! The Dr. Light to my Dr. Wily, Dan from Dissect That Film returns to this week to talk more Maverick hunting. We went longer than I expected us to with this one, but when you're talking mega Man there's never enough. With 2 playthroughs to break down, plus rambling about the series as a whole and those legendary cutscenes, we had a ton to get to.And before we X, I put together another edition of the Infamous Intro! This week someone asks for breakup advice in video game context and I try my best. What are the top NES hidden gems I'd recommend people check out?? And why don't I play all series in chronological order??Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! This one features 3 Mega Man games: Mega Man & Bass, Mega Man Zero, and Mega Man ZX.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
