Introducing “HEAR THE MUSIC” Discussions About Mental Health

This is simply a brief introduction to The “HEAR THE MUSIC” Podcast, hosted by Jennifer Ayers-Moore. We will discuss my experiences with my brother who has a mental health condition and the journey. I am doing this because I know there are others out there who have been challenged with some of the same issues and had to peel off layer after layer, in an effort to come to terms with the reality of mental illness. We welcome you to share your experiences, offer suggestions for new episodes, ideas on where and how family members can get help so we can share it, or if you just want to listen just to know that you are not alone. Please note that we will be respectful to you about mental illness and will not ever intentionally hurt anyone, so we are asking for your respect with this topic of mental illness and health, which is already so misunderstood. Let’s work together to eradicate the “stigma,” that has been a thorn for so long. We can make a difference by standing strong to “HEAR THE MUSIC!”
