Natural Science DailyAuthor: Kelby Leary
Natural Science Daily is a podcast making an attempt to remedy one of natural sciences biggest flaws: not being able to relay information to the public. As scientists we don't always know how to tell people what's going on in today's world, or even explain how we do our jobs. If you want to know more about the research happening today, or how people do anything from capturing puffins to cataloging insects, this is the place to be! AP Bi-Oh-No I'm Not In High School Anymore
Wednesday, 27 May, 2020
This week was one of the funnest interviews I've done thus far. We sit down with one of my idols: Erskine Academy science teacher Holly Tripp. Tripp was the first confident woman scientist I ever had as a role model. Having her as such a prominent figure in my life during my senior year of high school really helped me spring board into starting my college career. The interview bounces around from topic to topic, however the overarching theme is how hard this woman works to help students not only become better scientists, but better mini-adults as well. We talk transitioning into college, all things pandemic educating, and everything in between. So I hope you enjoy hearing what she has to say as much as I did!
