Da Chief is a North American rapper, writer and entrepreneur who was born in Methuen Massachusetts in 1976. At the age of 14 years old Da Chief started freestyle rapping with his brother in law who became his mentor. In 2000 Da Chief opened Money Matters Productions. In 2002 he performed at the Spanish Festival in Lawrence Massachusetts. He released 2 albums on the streets with the label. In 2004 Family Affairs Records was founded and released 3 records on the streets thus far. Da Chief is responsible for bringing Tony Sunshine, Maino, Opera Steve, Prospect and Terminology to many events in New England. In 2010 Family Affairs Records opened Insight Studio in Manchester, New Hampshire. Currently Da Chief is in the process of releasing his long awaiting and very much anticipated LP which will be soon titled.
