Our Lord now finishes up His four parables, as they are presented in the Gospel of Mark. They speak of growth. Furthermore, Jesus explained these things to His disciples when they were together with Him. Do you see the privilege, advantage and benefit of spending time with the Savior in order for Him to help us understand His Word?Mark then goes on to show our Lord with His disciples in the midst of a storm being tossed by the wind and sea on the sea of Galilee. Here is Jesus, bringing us, His disciples, through the storm.As Dr. Mitchell says, “We are far safer in the storm with Jesus than anywhere else”. Remember, the Lord Jesus is called Immanuel, meaning ‘God with us’! Let’s look to Jesus the author and perfecter of faith.Here is Dr. Mitchell, Mark 4:26.
