A former educator, Collins represents school boards, private schools, and public and private colleges and universities in litigation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies, such as the Office of Administrative Hearings and the Office of Civil Rights. He is also a consultant, mediator, and trainer who works at the intersection of law, human behavior, and institutional culture. Collins has a particular passion for children and families navigating special education and civil rights matters involving access to education, disability discrimination, mental health, and protections for LGBTQ+ youth. Known for his strategic clarity and relational approach, he brings both litigation skill and deep emotional intelligence to high-stakes advocacy.
