Donald Ostergard, M.D. has more than 58 years experience as a specialist in obstetrics, gynecology, and female reproductive disorders. Dr. Ostergard has published nine books and 141 peer-reviewed scientific articles and is one of the founders of the American Urogynecology Society (AUGS); the International Urogynecology Journal, and he helped found the International Urogynecological Association. He established the first urogynecological fellowship training program in the United States.
