In our first episode of Equalize, we delve deep into New Jersey’s LGBTQ-inclusive curriculum law that’s coming to public schools in the fall of 2020 as well as the work Garden State Equality is doing to develop that curriculum. We also sit down with a Hackensack high school student who found herself at the center of a national controversy—and the unusual path her school took with this new law.
