Equity in Protest: how the First Amendment has been applied to recent Black Lives Matter protests compared to the Capital Insurrection
Episode 1
Tuesday, 23 March, 2021

In today's episode, we had the honor to sit down with lobbyist and activist Robert Stephens  to discuss the history of the First Amendment's right to protest and right to assembly. During the episode, we discussed how the First Amendment has been applied to recent Black Lives Matter protests compared to how the First Amendment was applied to the recent Capital Insurrection. Mr. Stephens speaks from his first hand experiences as a community leader and provides great insight on  the potential policy solutions involving criminal justice reform and the right to protest.
