Ep 7 - Losing my dad (during covid)

I’m back after a 3 month hiatus! I finally feel ready to share my story of losing my dad during covid. I kept a journal during this time to write down everything that was happening and how I was feeling. In this episode, you will hear me read my journal, a letter I wrote to my dad that I read during his celebration of life and the lessons I learned. Grief looks different for everyone and it is an ongoing process. Some days I'm good and other days I can't control my crying. I let myself feel all of the emotions and just ride them out instead of holding it in. I'm grateful to have supportive people in my life to get me through as well as my self care practices to keep me grounded.
