38: Beerhind The Poles

After an extended break, Behind The Goals is back! And we're doing it in style - we've taken the podcast on the road again, this time to Warsaw for a beer festival. Whilst in Warsaw we did a bit of ground-hopping - taking a tour of the national stadium, drinking beer responsibly in the Legia stadium (where the beer festival was being held), and taking in a Liga III match at the Polonia stadium. Polonia won 2-0 against ŁKS Łomża, and even though we wanted to just sit and watch the game we were forced (literally!) to stand up and join in with the chants and choreography! The last week or two has also been a bit of a media frenzy, with invitations to appear on radio and TV to talk about the potential reintroduction of alcohol sales in football stadia (a subject we're very familiar with!) and also to respond to the trouble at last week's Edinburgh derby match.
