Safety culture is more than a poster on the wall or a box to tick. It is the foundation that makes a Safety Management System (SMS) work in practice. Without it, even the most detailed SMS is just a document sitting on a shelf. In this episode, host Grenville Hudson turns the microphone on co-host Kathryn Harvey, who brings a background in safety management, safety culture, and human factors. Kathryn unpacks what safety culture really means, how organisations can assess where they sit on the culture maturity spectrum, and what leaders need to do to move the needle.
