In Part 1 of our series on Redeeming Our Bodies, we begin to imagine how our bodies are involved in our salvation and participation in the life of God. The human soul and body are deeply intertwined. The soul’s pain, shame, and sin come out in the body. What’s done to and in the body has a direct impact on the soul. Because of this, Jesus took on a body to redeem humanity, and following Jesus involves our bodies as we are healed and transformed.
