In this episode Cael Jack, and some special guests break down the main story of the Aenied! Script: Welcome to the Cael and Jack show, today we will be chatting with some of the characters from the Aeneid. Narrator: Our first special guest is Aeneas. So Aeneas do you think Carthage will ever be as great as Troy? Aeneas: Troy was pretty great but Carthage they’re not they’re not burnt down what’s the say that. (Troy was burned down) I’m sure Carthage be greater than Troy ever was overcome sure if they just don’t horse around or anything in if you know I mean. Narrator: our next guest is queen Dido. Queen Dido what was your reaction when you heard about all this gossip? I don’t understand a union with the Trojans would stabilize the region! why then do they not believe. perhaps our strength together will inspire them. But how long this will he stay here? Narrator: Our next guest is Juno. Juno how do you feel about Troy being destroyed? Troy has been defeated and the story Paris his judgment is over I will not rest until my honor has been restored! Narrator:Out last special yesterday is the author of the Aeneid, Virgil. So Virgil how long did the Aeneid to take you to write? Virgil: The Aeneid took me 10 years to write! Narrator: wow that’s pretty long! How does Julius Caesar play into this? Virgil: He conquered more territory created an empire that stretch far and wide and his plan was to just take over the whole world and he he did that for a time he was the ruler of the world as they know it because that was all they knew was that Mediterranean area are you in the European area and others areas in the Middle East.
