The establishment of Sekolah Alam Shah, (fondly known as SAS), is yet another educational institution that is successfully established under the National Education Policy through the Razak Report/Statement in 1958. In its days, Sekolah Alam Shah was the first Malay medium school that offered form six classes to its students, which in turn, enabled Malay medium students to further their education in higher learning institutions locally and abroad.
