The ANP podcast comes to you as a free online stream covering all topics that Nurse Practitioner related. Alex interviews Nurse Practitioners working in the health sector from around Australia discussing NP journeys, differing models of care, experiences, challenges and triumphs. The health workforce is made up of around 450 000 nurses and midwives. As of December 2021, there are 2332 NPs and 1 Midwife Practitioner who are endorsed in Australia. Thus, NPs make up for approximately 0.5% of the nursing workforce. This podcast hopes to bring that 0.5% together to share their experiences, learn from others, collaborate, network and support each other in this amazing contemporary nursing role.
