In this episode of Good Journeys with Ben Veal and Sarah Moon, we’re joined by Lynne Fernquest, CEO of the Bath Rugby Foundation: a charity that is transforming the lives of thousands of young people through sport, mentoring and alternative education.Lynne grew up in a working-class community in Neath, where rugby, resilience and laughter were part of everyday life. It was there she first realised something that has shaped her entire career: talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t.After studying Law and Economics at Cardiff University, Lynne built a successful career in journalism, becoming Deputy Editor of the South Wales Evening Post and later the first female editor of the Bath Chronicle.
