Send us Fan MailIT IS FINISHED, BUT IT’S NOT OVEREarly on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, MaryMagdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had beenremoved from the entrance. So she came running to SimonPeter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said,“They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!” John 20:1-2 John 20:5Then the disciples went back to where they were staying. John 20:10Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, shebent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels inwhite, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head andthe other at the foot. They asked her, “Woman, why are youcrying?” “They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’tknow where they have put him.” At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, John 20:11-14Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I haveseen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her. John 20:181. Remember the reason Sin is the root cause of all  pain.To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearingvery severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children.Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and atefruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You mustnot eat from it,’ Cursed is the ground because of you; throughpainful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.                 Genesis 3:16-17For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans  3:23Until you see yourself as a sinner  you’ll never recognize your need for a savior 2. Remember the CrossFor God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, andthrough him to reconcile to himself all things, whether thingson earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross. Colossians 1:19-20Jesus didn’t just suffer; He suffered for us.Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet weconsidered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed forour iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was onhim, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-53. Remember the empty tomb Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying.
