He has a unique perspective of what the future holds for financial advisors and will be sharing what we should be excited for, willing to incorporate in our practices and be aware of in the coming years. Here's a little more about Kyle: Currently hanging out at SS&C Advent focusing on shaping the Black Diamond Wealth Platform for large financial services firms. My journey here has been unconventional - I never thought I would end up in finance! I started working in professional sports, then into software, then my wife and I started and ran a coffee shop, then back to software and in to finance! I have tried a bunch of different things and built a diverse set of experiences. My unique abilities are: - Connecting the dots between the future of technology and finance. - Building strategic partnerships - Connecting and promoting great people. My personal passions include: – My family! (I've been married for 8 years to my wonderful wife and we have 4 kids). – Golf. I'm a 7 handicap and on a quest to play all of the top 100 golf courses in the USA. – Coffee. I try to find and support a specialty coffee shop in every city I visit and also attempt to brew perfect cups of coffee while at home. – Cooking. I'm currently cooking through every dish in the Southern Gentleman's Cookbook. – Sports. Go Phillies (My dad played for them in the minors), UGA Dawgs, ATL Falcons, ATL UTD. – Inspiring generosity. Fed over 20,000 people for Thanksgiving last year through Hungry 4 a Day! Bonus: I am deeply passionate about using technology to make investing more accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy. The past 10 years have provided the longest bull market ever and many from my generation missed out due to fear from the 2008 crisis. I want to help change that.
