Völlig überraschend konnte er hier ziemlich lange mithalten und mehr Stimmen verbuchen, als er es wahrscheinlich selbst für möglich gehalten hatte. Nun ist er Verkehrsminister im Kabinett Biden und damit der erste offen schwule Minister einer US-Regierung. Jemals.
