As a typical teenage outcast, Van's only dream is to become famous as the drummer for his band with his three friends by his side. And with the school talent show coming up, the band finally has the chance they've been looking for. But when Layla, the most popular girl in the school and best singer in the choir agrees to be the lead singer for the band, things only get complicated. Despite his best efforts not to, Van finds himself falling in love with Layla. The only thing standing in the way is Layla's overprotective and arrogant boyfriend, Max.
