Thomas Ray Garcia returns to the Reading With Your Kids Podcast to celebrate his nonprofit organization CSLAP (College Scholarship Leadership Access Program). This program helps high school students with the college application process so that no one is unable to move onto higher education due to lack of access or resources. They provide individual guidance through mentors that not only help them get into college, but also grow as people. It's an important conversation about the systemic barriers for low income college-applicants and how communities can rise above them.
