1st. Sunday after Easter - Blessed are we, when we do not see, but yet believe.
Saturday, 11 April, 2026
Welcome, in the joy of the Risen Christ! We love that you are here with us. This week we recall things we struggle to believe in, whatever that might be for us. In Thomas’ case it was that Jesus had truly risen. We might struggle to believe that God has our life in his hands, or that we are truly loved by Jesus. Thomas believed in Jesus’ resurrection because he could reach out and touch Jesus. God’s word reassures us that blessings are even greater for those who believe and have not yet seen Jesus. May we also remember that each person around us carries the image of God. Jesus walks beside us and among us- we see him in the care of a friend, or in the love of a mother who provides for her child. May your eyes be open this week for all the signs that Jesus is truly risen, and that he truly loves you. Message presented by Pr. Allan Taruste.Support the show
