Ep 3: “Be somebody people want to be around.”
Episode 3
Friday, 1 May, 2020

Real talk with FOH Engineer, Jeremie Ngandu After speaking with a couple of highly accomplished engineers, there was a major takeaway to reflect on. While the technical bits of sound knowledge, understanding and implementation were a must have, there was another crucial trait that made or broke, who you are as a sound engineer. People skills. If you’re not a personable person, no matter how brilliant, it will often be that people will hesitate to work with you. Being a decent person first is as important as being a decent engineer. A transferable skill to any industry or profession, it is actually true that, who you really are, is a vital portion of what your career will be!
