Scottish FictionBlog. Radio Show. Podcast. Music. Etc. Author: Neil Wilson
As anyone will tell you those who cannot do, teach. Well in my case the saying should go, 'those who cannot do, preach'. Scottish Fiction, aside from being an Idlewild reference, is my attempt at just that. Not content with the bland and money grabbing dross that fills our radio waves, and without the necessary musical ability to do anything about it, Scottish Fiction is one man's attempt to promote, discover, and introduce new (and old) music. I attempt this through my blog and also via the means of community radio, where you can here my ramblings on Pulse 98.4 FM (or online at www.pulseonair.co.uk). Scottish Fiction - 30th July 2015
Friday, 31 July, 2015
There's something pretty special about live music on radio. It's the aspect of doing this whole Scottish Fiction hoo-la that I enjoy the most. So it was such a delight to get back to hosting Scottish Fiction Sessions as I welcomed Dec '91 into the studio for a chat and live music. We spoke about music, travelling, our upcoming Scottish Fiction Presents gig, as well as all sorts of other nonsense. Making up the rest of the show, there's a new Playlist addition from Tongues, music from Yutani, Turtle, and Holy Esque, and stunning Re-Mixing It Up track from Outblinker via Machines In Heaven.
