S4E13 Spaying and Neutering Pets with OVC Theriogenologist Dr. Michelle Caissie
Episode 13
Monday, 14 April, 2025
Ever wonder when you should be spaying or neutering an animal? Well look no further as who better to ask than OVC's own Theriogenologist, Dr. Michelle Caissie! After graduating from AVC in 2015, Michelle completed a large animal rotating internship at OVC. During this time, her passion for reproduction (theriogenology) flourished and she continued on as a DVSc student in Theriogenology. She successfully completed both her theriogenology board certification examination and her DVSc in 2019. In this episode, Dr. Gowland chats with Dr. Caissie about the benefits of spaying and neutering, and also how to come to a decision as to when you should be performing these procedures.
