This is the audio version of my latest blog post: Why you paint. I am basically thinking out loud and drawing inspiration from my current read: Cezanne by Ulrike Becks-Malorny, Taschen edition. I purchased the book at my local bookshop. As I read through Cezanne's beginnings, I am reminded of painting as a mission. Why is it that someone would start painting. Cezanne has his story, an interesting one but we all have our personal motivation. This goes even for all forms of art.
