Are NAD-Injections-safe?
Episode 207
Wednesday, 11 December, 2024
There are people on TikTok and elsewhere are selling injections of NAD. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is an energy molecule that some feel is the key to slowing the aging process. Normally, people take supplements like NMN and nicotinamide riboside to boost cellular NAD. Those supplements do have their share of clinical research but what about injecting NAD directly into the body? Preliminary research suggests cancer cells need NAD to grow so what does this mean for intravenous NAD treatments? When I tried to tell people about this on TikTok, my video was banned. While NAD shots may be one day be proven safe, until that happens, I feel this message needs to get out in the hopes that it helps those who has a history of cancer. If you have a history of cancer, please speak to your physician before supplementing with NAD via injections.
