Drum Run follows 7 "Third Estaters" as they battle polar vortexes, flash floods, ravagers and armed mercenary groups in their quest to accomplish a 7 day suicide mission. Mission success allows them re-entry into the walled city known as The Estate. Failure insures their banishment forever. One hundred and fifty years in the future, climate change has ravaged much of the planet, except for a small band of land across the northern section of the United States. Before the world went to hell, the ultra rich built a walled city in the forests of Montana and named it "The Estate." Inside the walls, those of the First Estate have all the creature comforts you could ever ask for. Those in the Third Estate are the hired help -- young, smart and attractive -- and with little to no privileges or rights.Rule violations by anyone not in the First Estate results in banishment, although everyone is given one last chance in the form of a 7 day suicide mission known as a "Drum Run."
