This week we had a very special guest on TWIR. We welcomed lead singer/multi-instrumentalist Ted Joyner from the indie rock band Generationals onto the show. This New Orleans band is blowing up huge, having just made appearances on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic and Seattle's legendary KEXP before we got them on the phone. We discuss his background in music; past bands; his friendship with bandmate Grant Widmer; the new album Actor-Caster; the critically acclaimed debut album Con Law; the decision to branch out musically and risk it all on the second album; and the band's N.O. influences.
