Welcome to Beyond the Hookup! Robyn and Heather are sisters who through education, real life situations, and research discovered the need for TRUE and thorough sex education. Not only do todays teens need sex ed, but parents need help in how to talk to their teens about sex too! Beyond the HookUp will set you on a path to learning what is normal, how to love your body, what a healthy relationship should look like, and beyond! Robyn is a mom, a licensed clinical social worker, although she is not working in that capacity on the podcast, and has worked with teens and young people for years, helping them work through various real-life situations. Heather is an educator, a mom, and a lifelong learner! The two of them together will present the listener with accurate information about his or her body and sex, give examples of every day situations, and provide practical advice for both teens and parents!
