While this concurs with Michael's on-the -ground insight from the industry, he points out that demand varies from sector to sector and markets like Mil/Aero remain robust. The panel also discuss regional impacts from geopolitics and the potential for growth in Mexico and companies move production closer while reducing dependance on China. Dan and Phil were both in Munich for electronica last month and shared some anecdotal insights around expectations for 2023 and the relationships between OEMs, EMS companies and the component industry.
