Confusing these two roles will cause your content marketing strategy to be ineffective. Many entrepreneurs mistake a content creator for a strategist simply because they have an deep understanding of a social channel or two. Knowing the channel is only part of the equation- business owners need to either build a strategy that maps their goals and the customer journey and guide the creator or work with a strategist to develop an impactful content strategy to guide the content creators.
