Meet Barbara Barbara is a military spouse, executive director, and founder of SisterHood Ministry, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization network geared towards women in the military community, both past and present affiliation, who have a heart for ministry. The nonprofit focuses on Faith-based network connections while providing tools and resources for managing ministry operations with Christian leadership development. Barbara is also pursuing a Master of Divinity – M.Div. focused in Christian Leadership from Grand Canyon University. On the podcast, we discuss how she got her start in ministry with military spouses, how the organization provides tools and resources to manage ministry operations successfully, and how to mend those cultural gaps between military families and the local community.
