I am honored to share my music with you. I am a musician and singer, starting at the age of 7, focusing on Voice, Violin, Bass, Bansuri, Guitar, and Piano. I have been influenced by a tapestry of experiences, including extensive world travel, high climbing, mountain climbing, vertical caving, skiing, hiking, performing arts, healing arts, including theatre, music, dance, yoga, tai chi chuan, massage, bodywork. The World Now Podcast 11. Recorded Live, 14 July 2017, Bastille Day. Paula Nutting of Brisbane, Australia returns in her third visit as Steve's honored guest! Steve and Paula continue on her life story of the very independent path that Paula has taken. Be sure and tune in to Podcast 9 and 10 to hear the full journey. In this podcast, we learn more about Paula's work with Chapman's Reflexes, and how she has advanced understanding of this important work. Chapman's Reflexes are named after the late Dr. Frank Chapman, D.O. in 1920, developed further by others, including the late Dr. George Goodheart, D.C. Paula has taken these concepts into a new direction, working on the core, helping people to breathe, reduce stress, relax, reset muscle resting lengths, and more benefits. She is teaching courses in this important ground-breaking work. Paula is specializing in musculoskeletal therapy since 2007. Paula Nutting has over 30 years’ experience in health and massage, specializing in musculoskeletal therapy since 2007. She has lectured on various diploma and degree subjects, as well as coordinated and designed units of study for the vocational and higher education arenas. A published expert in her field – including her own book series, plus article contributions in various esteemed journals and text books – she has presented courses, seminars and workshops within the local and international massage circuit in areas of musculoskeletal dysfunction, instability of the core, acute and chronic muscle imbalance and many muscle and joint techniques. She also owns and operates a successful massage therapy clinic in the north of Brisbane. Paula has served on the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT), Queensland Branch, as Vice President, Director and President. She was also Chair on the Ethics Committee and is currently Chair of the Education Committee. She has been involved in the National Health Practitioners of Canada/AAMT governance and strategic planning, and is a past Director on the Board of the Australian Massage Research Foundation (AMRF).
