The Habesha experience is a Black Experience like no other. There aren't a lot of people talking about this until recently when it comes to mapping out the Western World we live in today. This episode aims to unpack that and allow me to do my part... more so seeing how my POV/mindset has aged in the last 3 years from my initial stance. Charlie Chaplin said "To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it!" and in that same sense if we are to be taking note of our little quirks and stereotypes, How secure are we in realizing whats a toxic trait in our culture and what's not?!? What's a tradition we need to preserve while living in foreign soil and what's something we need to add to our bag to better flourish as the "East African" society we are that's still going strong since ancient times.
