As we’ve learned, our sanctification begins when we receive the Holy Spirit and walk in dependency on Him, asking Him to change us to be more like Christ (4:5-6a). But now we discover that as the Spirit of God is faithful to do His work, so too must we be faithful to do ours! Join us this Sunday as we continue our study of James 4. Having learned about the power of the Holy Spirit to make us more like Christ when we ask Him too, now we turn to the part of sanctification that requires our efforts to become faithful “doers of the Word.”
