“If you’re thinking you’re stinking” was just one of the many nuggets of wisdom Clayton Eisberg shared with his bandmates in dadweed while in the midst of their first tour of the Mountain West. Their name is more tongue and cheek than a literal homage to cannabis - instead their mission is to savor the finer things in life. The band's sound blends traditional bluegrass with elements of jazz, R&B, and pop, reflecting a wide spectrum of American folk music. Guitarist Keenan Dorn and bassist Ian Lindsay both agree that bluegrass is more accessible now than ever before, with universal themes of heartbreak and adventure that underscore the music and transcends language and racial barriers. The trio stopped by KHOL to discuss their tour of the Rockies so far, jamming in the parking lot of festivals, and the future of bluegrass to come.
