I'm So Not Over ItThe Comedy History Podcast About Stuff You'll Remember Author: Gareth Gwynn & Esyllt Sears
I'm So Not Over It is a comedy history podcast about things you'll remember from the first time round. Each week comedy writers Gareth Gwynn and Esyllt Sears explore a different month in history but with a brief stretching from the mid-70s to the present day. Basically, if you could see it, it would be in colour. Its politics and pop culture for the eighties, nineties, noughties and beyond, delivered in 20 minute hits because we know what your attention span is like. So if you remember Westlife but struggle with the Westland affair and if your favourite Aitken was a Tory MP or the one who co-wrote I Should Be So Lucky, weve got you covered in this ridiculous historical guide to the information age (even if that information came from a poorly recalled browse of Encarta 95). These weekly episodes are interspersed with interviews with the people who lived through this period to understand whether it has had any bearing on the lives they lead today. The perfect listen, whether youre Generation X, Gen X, Xennial, Millennial, Generation Z, Gen Z or whatever Pepsi wants to call you.I'm So Not Over It is brought to you by the team behind the award nominated Xennial Dome Podcast - Previous guests on that show include Nish Kumar, Jess Philips MP, Trevor & Simon, Isy Suttie and many more and those episodes can be found on the same podcast feed.I'm So Not Over It is a Mighty Bunny Production. Christmas Leftovers IV (I Can't Get Over 2025)
Monday, 5 January, 2026
Happy New Year! Blwyddyn Newydd Dda! It's leftovers time! Don't worry, we've given these a sniff and they're fine.As 2025 drew to a close, the I'm So Not Over It team were busy putting together a look back at 2025 for BBC Radio Wales.I Can't Get Over 2025 is available on BBC Sounds now and there's even a video clip online, if you want to see the Oakwood Park footage for yourself. The show covers everything from the launch of the Tourist Tax to the closure of Oakwood Park - plus interviews with Father Matt Roache-Saunders on attending the Pope’s funeral in Rome, Wales Women’s football team’s sports therapist Sara Gray on the excitement of the team’s European campaign and cyber security expert Rita from Cybervists on why you should add a special character to your password. But we had plenty of time in the BBC Radio Wales studio to cover all kinds of stories, some of which didn't make the final cut - so here's four of them. We've got political jobs, Wales' tallest building, £1 bus fairs and cows in Neath. You can get in touch with the show on imsonotoverit@gmail.com or contact us on one of the following...BlueSky: @imsonotoveritInstagram: @imsonotoveritTikTok: @imsonotoveritTheme music by Alex_Kizenkov from Pixabay.I'm So Not Over It (and I Can't Get Over 2025, now you mention it) is a (are) Mighty Bunny Production(s).
