The Lavender Bedtime Project Trailer
Tuesday, 18 February, 2020

We're excited to tell you about our new podcast that's perfect for kids - of all ages- who struggle with falling asleep.  The Lavender Bedtime Project is inspired by our 3 year old daughter, her daily anxiety around naps and bedtime, and our constant search to find ways to make sleepy time easier.  We've all been there.....you tell your child it's time for bed...child freaks out and comes up with every excuse to stay up....ensue tears, fears, and sometimes downright defiance. Through a lifetime of dealing with my own struggles with anxiety and falling asleep I've realized that learning to relax is a skill we need to teach our kids.  And this is where our podcast comes into play! Each week we'll be featuring children's books from independent authors, read as bedtime stories in a podcast format so they're easy to find and play--especially via smart speakers like Google Nest, Apple HomePod or Amazon Echo.   Since our stories are intended to be listened to at bedtime or nap time, our episodes will be engaging, but also calm and relaxing. Our goal is to create a vast library of stories that your child--and you--will want to listen to over and over again. Please join us in March as we bring you The Lavender Bedtime Project. For more information, visit us at lavenderbedtime.com.  ** If you are an independently published children's book author and would like your story featured on our podcast, please contact us at lavenderbedtime@gmail.com **
