During this time he played and headlined at basically every single club in Costa Rica, including the famous Club Vertigo incalculable times. Now as a Techno and Tech House DJ/ producer, Mario has signed with 82 Recordings, Land of Voodoo Recordings, Half Seas Over Recordings, Killing Machine Records &Subsensory Recordings. His tracks are already being supported by some of the most well known DJ's worldwide, including Dubfire and Steve Lawler, Ida Engberg, Audiofly & Kabuto&Koji amongst many others. His mixes are all surgically precise and harmonically fluent in a much sought out manner. His latest CD, The Latin Techno Mafia Mix, drew huge praise during WMC 2009 and played live on The Womb Radio. Mario Maroto is now residing between Portland, Oregon and San Jose, Costa Rica and has played at various venues such as The Womb internet radio, Skyline, the Electric Pickle the world famous, Club Space in Miami, The Crown Room, Bossanova Ballroom, BC's and several other venues around the Northwest of the US as well as a recently traveling to Barcelona, Spain to play at Sonar Festival.
