Part 5: When Despair Collides with Hope

In Mark 5, two desperate stories collide with Jesus: a father pleading for his dying daughter and a woman who has suffered for twelve long years. Both are reaching for hope, both are facing situations that seem beyond repair, and both discover that delay does not mean defeat. Despair says brokenness, sickness, waiting, and even death get the final word—but Jesus tells a different story. Through His power, compassion, and ultimately His resurrection, we are reminded that what is broken can be redeemed, what is lost can be restored, and what is dead can live again. Because of Jesus, hope has the final word.
