Norm Nathan's Vault of Silliness with Tony NesbittAuthor: Tony Nesbitt
Norm Nathans Vault of Silliness will air the personal collection of the Norm Nathan Show for which I produced on WBZ-AM from 1989 until his sudden passing on October 29th, 1996. Norm spent 50 years in Boston Broadcasting working at WCOP, WESX, WMEX, WHDH, WEEI, WRKO, WMRE and WBZ. Whether news, talk or musiche did it, sometimes combining them all. Many of the recordings you will hear were sent to me by a fan and friend, Joan McCool. Others are from my personal collection. They will air as recorded, with the warmth an old, analog tape recording provides. Some with good, olfashioned home editing of the play/pause button. And ALL with the ever-comforting voice of Uncle Norm. Thank you just so darn much for tuning in! Norm Nathan’s Vault of Silliness w/Tony Nesbitt - Ep 275 - The Incredible Mr. LeClair
Episode 275
Wednesday, 18 February, 2026
All right Nathanites, here we are again for another exciting episode of NNVoS. Today features a DBG from February 17th, 1996. It always seemed when Norm got very comfortable with a producer, they would leave and the whole process would start again. It was a tough situation because we lost some good ones. Sooooooo, because producer Ed LeClair was leaving for FL to possibly work at GulfWorld, I will title this, “The Incredible Mr. LeClair.” Norm and Ed discuss all that and the players are introduced. And there’s a whole lot of fun before they finally start the game. Players: Ed LeClair Jack Harte Twin brothers John & Jim from Livonia, MI Bob in Peabody Pete from Lawrence Bdays: Hal Holbrook Margaret Truman Daniel Jim Brown Michael Jordan Mary Ann Mobley Date in History: The first issue of Newsweek Magazine was published in what year? Ep 275, The Incredible Mr. LeClair, swims its way to your ears, now.
