Brotherhood Without Manners, your favorite full-spoiler reread podcast of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, is back with another chapter from Storm of Swords. In this episode, we are reading Samwell 5. This is Sam's final chapter from Storm of Swords. Stannis and Melisandre have a meeting with the contenders for Lord Commander, as well as with Sam and Aemon. Sam questions his importance, while Aemon questions Stannis' after being in the presence of Lightbringer. Aemon has himself a little lie down after he tells Sam that there is nothing a Maester can do to influence the outcome of the vote. Sam visits the two best options for Lord Commander at the moment in an effort to sway one to support the other. Finally seeing his worth, Sam finds the perfect way to play Cotter Pyke and Denys Mallister against each other in an effort to prevent Janos Slynt from becoming Lord Commander. Leave us a review!
