Welcome to a very special episode of Inbetween The Groove! While we were hard at work with bringing you the regularly scheduled Inbetween The Grooves content, a highly anticipated album dropped on May 13th, 2022. On that day, Kendrick Lamar released his 5th Studio Album, "Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Now Kendrick's list of accolades from his work is many things: impressive, inspiring, and extensive. He's a highly revered rapper from Compton, CA who really started to make a ripple effect after the released of his second LP, " good kid, m.A.A.d city ." Ever since that album came onto the scene, The Grooves Boys were hooked. So when we learned of the 5th Studio Album's release date, we immediately made plans to record a special episode to highlight this new experience. Two days later, The Grooves Boys assembled to record a special episode with a quick turnaround time. As a result of this quick turnaround, this episode is less edited and less mixed than our usual installments. But we promise that it is still filled to the brim with engaging conversations, that promotes and celebrates the entire album listening experience.
