“A Time to Remember” – “Remembering September 9-11-2001” Deuteronomy 6:6-7 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. America has a “Forgetting Problem”. We need to remember what the Lord has done. We need to instill in the next generation what the Lord has done. America’s strength depends on God. Parents, teach your children Remember the cost of our salvation. Things of great worth come at great cost. Israel’s Unfaithfulness Judges 2:7 The people served the LORD throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him and who had seen all the great things the LORD had done for Israel. Judges 2:11 Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD and served the Baals. We must never forget what the Lord has done for us.
