The Jamie Jay Car Podcast - Ep 18 - Stevo Timothy - Wheelchair Boxing for Charity
Episode 18
Friday, 4 June, 2021
Sir Stevo Timothy V Paddy Barnes, Conor McGregor V Al Foran, and Darren Conway V (TBC) will happen this September in a charity wheelchair fight in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association. On this episode of The Jamie Jay Car Podcast: I caught up with comedian Sir Stevo Timothy about the upcoming charity fight he's organized which will feature himself wheelchair boxing against the legendary Olympic Medal winner Paddy Barnes and will also see awesome impressionist Al Foran potentially taking on Conor McGregor, (yes THE Conor McGregor) and will also see funny man Darren Conway take on an unnamed opponent in what could be one of the biggest charity events in Ireland this year. I spoke to Stevo who plays the character (Farmer Michael) about what he thinks his chances are against Paddy, his thoughts on Conor McGregor donating 10,000 to charity for the event, his training regime with John Kavanagh, His thoughts on how hilarious it would be to see Al Foran face Conor McGregor and also how he thinks Mary Lou McDonald should be in Darren Conway's corner on the night! He also gives us an 'exclusive' on who else we may see there on the night. So who would you like to see take on Darren Conway on the night? Do you think Al Foran stands a chance? and will Paddy Barnes make quick work of Stevo Timothy? Comment below and let me know! I read every comment.
