French that speaks to you. Salut, c'est Hugo! I created this podcast in 2017 when I was teaching at the French institute in Warsaw, Poland. My goal was to show my students that they could learn French naturally simply by listening to it. 30 million downloads later, I think we're onto something! Granted, it's not a magic bullet. This method still requires hundreds of hours of practice. That's why I'm doing my best to make these episodes as engaging as possible. I want you to get sucked into the topics so deep you forget that you're "learning French". You'll quickly realize that you're capable of understanding a lot more French than you think. The episodes get progressively more challenging, so I'd recommend starting from the oldest ones and working your way up. Comptable, plombier, électricien... Des métiers autrefois peu valorisés deviennent désirables parce qu'ils sont considérés comme « ennuyeux ». Comment cette nouvelle tendance s'est-elle mise en place ? Dans cet épisode, Hugo et Ingrid commencent par revenir sur l'évolution des envies des travailleurs entre les années 2000 et 2010, une époque qu'ils ont bien connu et où les Millenials cherchaient à trouver un sens dans leur travail. Ils expliquent ensuite comment le Covid a marqué un tournant dans le rapport au travail. Pourquoi la Génération Z recherche plutôt un « job chiant » ?
